Requirements for British Gurkha Army:

  • Age: Minimum 18 to maximum 21 years for recruitment year.

  • Height: Minimum 158 cm.

  • BMI: Between 17-30 on phase 1 selection and 18 -28 on phase 2 selection

  • Eyesight: No glasses, contact lenses, or laser surgery allowed.

  • Teeth: No more than 2 faults (fillings, Gaps of false teeth front and teeth must be without fault)

  • Education: Minimum SEE pass or equivalent. A minimum of 5x C grades is compulsory. Must have a minimum C grade in English and Mathematics.
