Requirements for Nepal Army Recruitment:

  • Age: 18 to 22 years for soldiers (Jawan); may vary slightly depending on the announcement.

  • Height:

    • Male: Minimum 5 ft 3 in (160 cm)

    • Female: Minimum 5 ft (152 cm)

  • Weight:

    • Male: Minimum 50 kg

    • Female: Minimum 42 kg

  • Chest (Male): Minimum 31–33 inches (expanded)

  • Eyesight: Must have normal vision without the use of glasses, lenses, or corrective surgery.

  • Teeth: Should not have significant dental issues or more than a few fillings; overall oral health is important.

  • Education: Minimum of SEE (Secondary Education Examination) or equivalent pass.
